What's going on with Voice - magazine for women?

We like to keep our readers updated on what going on with us and in the community.

We are gearing up for our All About Women Expo & Craft Show on April 18-19, 2009. We will be having the Mutt Strutt Fashion Show, Ladies' Fashion Shows, Chef demonstrations from the Southeast Culinary & Hospitality School in Bristol, TN and so much more! Mark your calendars and plan to attend! Pre-Sale event tickets will be available on March 1, 2009 and are $3.00 each per person/per day with all proceeds going to the Speedway Children's Charities - Bristol Chapter. Tickets at the door are $4.00 per person/per day. Be sure to attend both days - there are many fun activities planned!
During the Registration for the Mutt Strutt Doggie Fashion Show, we will be accepting donations for our homeless Fury Friends in our local animal shelters. If you would like to bring food, toys, blankets, or anything you feel the animal shelters can use, the animals would appreciate your kindness and generosity.

We are also holding our Fourth Annual Pets on Parade Photo Contest! We have three categories - Personality, It's All About Me, & Cute 'n Cuddly. You can email your pet's photo, with why they should win in which category. You have until April 15 to get your entries in. The winners will be published in the May edition and on our website.

Don't forget about our Reader's Choice Writer's Contest!!! We are still accepting entries and voting! If you have written a Poem, Non-Fiction Story, or a Fiction/Short Story, send it to us! Your writing will be posted to our website and your friends, and family can vote on it to make you the winner! Do you just like to read? Well, go to our entry page to read and vote for the entries that are already there! If you plan on entering, here are the contest rules.

Also, we still have our Reader's Survey! This is your chance to tell us what you think! Your opportunity to tell us what you would like to see with future issues of the magazine and information that you would like to see on our website. Do you know of any events going on in the community that you would Ike to have published in our "Voice of The Community" section? Email us and let us know what is going on! We plan a month ahead, so if you know of an even in May, we need to know in April. We ask that all community events are to us by the 15th of each month prior to the event. (First come, First Serve basis)
