We're working hard on the Expo! It's right around the corner and all the booths are about gone! I'm learning fast what is takes to get this together! A lot of time.. a lot of coffee and a lot of women!
Can't wait for the Expo to get here and to see all our hard work come to life! Hope to see you all out there!

Snow Again??

Just checked the weather report and it looks like we're not out of the snow quite yet. Wednesday and Thursday they are calling for more snow showers again. Make sure you bundle up and cross your fingers this is last of it.

I don't know about you, but I could get use to the weather we had yesterday. I even broke out the flip flops. But looks like they'll be but back in the closet until Spring is officially here.

Spring Cleaning

It's hard to think about spring cleaning when there are still signs of snow on the ground. Hopefully the snow is starting to hold off and we'll be headed to warmer weather in no time!

Some women have gotten cleaning out their "closets" down to an art form. Other's would love some direction on quick tips to help in that sometimes dreaded process.

What's going on with Voice - magazine for women?

We like to keep our readers updated on what going on with us and in the community.

We are gearing up for our All About Women Expo & Craft Show on April 18-19, 2009. We will be having the Mutt Strutt Fashion Show, Ladies' Fashion Shows, Chef demonstrations from the Southeast Culinary & Hospitality School in Bristol, TN and so much more! Mark your calendars and plan to attend! Pre-Sale event tickets will be available on March 1, 2009 and are $3.00 each per person/per day with all proceeds going to the Speedway Children's Charities - Bristol Chapter. Tickets at the door are $4.00 per person/per day. Be sure to attend both days - there are many fun activities planned!
During the Registration for the Mutt Strutt Doggie Fashion Show, we will be accepting donations for our homeless Fury Friends in our local animal shelters. If you would like to bring food, toys, blankets, or anything you feel the animal shelters can use, the animals would appreciate your kindness and generosity.

We are also holding our Fourth Annual Pets on Parade Photo Contest! We have three categories - Personality, It's All About Me, & Cute 'n Cuddly. You can email your pet's photo, with why they should win in which category. You have until April 15 to get your entries in. The winners will be published in the May edition and on our website.

Don't forget about our Reader's Choice Writer's Contest!!! We are still accepting entries and voting! If you have written a Poem, Non-Fiction Story, or a Fiction/Short Story, send it to us! Your writing will be posted to our website and your friends, and family can vote on it to make you the winner! Do you just like to read? Well, go to our entry page to read and vote for the entries that are already there! If you plan on entering, here are the contest rules.

Also, we still have our Reader's Survey! This is your chance to tell us what you think! Your opportunity to tell us what you would like to see with future issues of the magazine and information that you would like to see on our website. Be sure to take the Reader's Survey today and let your 'Voice' be heard!!

Do you know of any events going on in the community that you would Ike to have published in our "Voice of The Community" section? Email us and let us know what is going on! We plan a month ahead, so if you know of an even in May, we need to know in April. We ask that all community events are to us by the 15th of each month prior to the event. (First come, First Serve basis)

All About Women Expo

If you haven't checked out the website for the All About Women Expo, then you should!
We have information for being a vendor and for those who wish to come. We also have pictures from the previous Expo! The dates for the All About Women Expo are April 18-19, 2009. Saturday, April 18 from 10:00am - 6:00 pm and Sunday, April 19 from 12:00noon - 5:00pm

Not to mention an online registration form for the Mutt Strutt Doggie Fashion Show! This will be our Second Doggie Fashion Show! The first one we had over 30 entries! You can visit the website to view pictures. The Mutt Strutt Fashion Show will be on Saturday, April 18 at 11:00 am. Visit the website for more information!

All About Women Expo 2009

The dates have been set for the 2009 All About Women Expo!

Mark your calendars for April 18-19, 2009 for a fun filled weekend of shopping, demonstrations, the Second Annual Doggie Fashion Show, Ladies' Fashion Shows, and this year our venue will include crafts, home decor and much, much more! The All About Women Expo will be located at Viking Hall in Bristol, TN.

This year's Fashion Show will include Kathy's of Abingdon, VA, and others.

You won't want to miss the Second Annual Doggie Fashion Show. If you missed the first, you don't want to miss the second. It will be bigger then the first!
